Minimalist Monster is an absurd world created by Dominic Silverthorn.
Before Dom got an addiction for wax crayons he was arguably more useful. A craftsman for over 20 years — making furniture, spaces, wooden cameras and surfboards, for clients in the UK and Japan.
Then one fateful day, in a moment of despair, he picked up the red crayon and fell down the rabbit hole — getting lost for hours that led to weeks.
Crayons opened his mind like social media promised but left him with a smile.

This new found love for vibrant waxy colour showed him the way — to build a place where minimalists and monsters can coexist. A world that actually feels alive and sparks joy, even though it's made with crayons.
Knowing this he quickly recruited a close friend, M.Monster, to take charge of day to day operations, who now handles complaints and takes blame for mishaps.
These days Dom can often be spotted roaming the Cornish coastal paths, or the trails surrounding Mt Fuji, leaving the lab and most of the work in the hands of the little Monsters.
